Brief Description I am a counsellor with a Graduate Diploma in Coaching and Counselling. I am also an experienced classical singer and performer. I'd like to work with musicians, particularly singers who are either suffering from performance anxiety or require general purpose counselling. I have experience working with clients suffering from addiction and substance abuse which is a common problem for some aspiring or working musicians. As both a singer and counsellor I would like to have an opportunity to assist with mental health issues so that all artists who work with me can potentially bring out the best in their performances.

Brief Description I strive for healthy piano playing technique by providing education and other preventative measures to lower the risk of playing-related musculoskeletal disorder (PRMD). For those who already have PRMD, I aim to analyze the cause of discomfort and find a solution to bring you back to playing as soon as possible without compromising the quality of your playing *. I will also collaborate with your primary healthcare professional to find the best solution. * Note that my service should not be a substitute for professional healthcare.

Brief Description For over 30 years I've been working in the arts. Since 2005 I have directed hundreds of actors in trauma-based educational dramas under contract with Western University and the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children in London, Canada. In 2016 I began training as a psychotherapist to further enhance my collaboration skills with actors. During this time I spent three years as a placement therapist under clinical supervision working one-to-one with clients with complex PTSD, anxiety and depression. To date I have obtained certificates from UKCP and BACP accredited institutes in the United Kingdom in humanistic integrative counselling, psychodynamic integrative counselling, psychodrama, and in the USA the Therapeutic Spiral Model - level 1 (recognized by the ABEPSGP). The intersection of my five years of psychotherapy training and directing trauma-based narratives created the seedbed for ACES (Actualizing Characters by Expanding Self-awareness), a process I developed for actors that safely and ethically expands the actors capacity for embodying distressing emotions in character portrayals while prioritizing their own well being.

Brief Description I am a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (Level 2). I have a Masters of Counselling from the University of Queensland, and a Bachelor of Human Services from Griffith University. I was a dancer who sought after a professional career, reaching pre-professional level and various audition tours. I faced numerous and constant mental battles throughout this journey as many dancers do, so decided to leave the industry and create a space where dancers would be supported as they endure these hardships. Dancers deserve services that understand the demands the industry ask of them, so I have provided a service that offers primarily counselling but also other forms of mental health support specifically for dancers.

Description I am a classically trained dancer, teacher and Pointe shoe fitter. My passion started in 1085 with feet and pointe shoes. I started to develop the Juon Pointe system in 1985, at a time when there was no pointe shoe fitting method. So over the first few years, I developed that first and in 1995 publish a little book called "Pointe Shoe Secrets". This led me to be invited by Grisko to Russia for me to fit, dancers that the Bolshoi Ballet and Vaganova School in Moscow. I now live in work in New Zealand where we have developed the full Pre - Pointe assessment, and now added the Mentoring Program which allows the dancer to pass our full Pre-Pointe Assessment. I currently work on Zoom with teachers, dancers and Pointe shoe fitters all over the world. My dream is to leave a permanent system in place to protect all dancers feet, body, mind and spirit from Pointe work. Making dancing on pointe safe and easier

Brief Description I have worked closely with instrumentalists, vocalists and performing artists of all kinds for many years as a performer and an educator. Working with performers to help them to take care of themselves through a deep understanding of technique, process and breathing through Alexander Technique allows for a greater freedom of expression and comfort. It also allows for greater career longevity within the performing arts. Most of all, working with artists is what I love to do. I started out as a classical guitarist and continue to work as a performer, conductor, educator and collaborative artist within the field.

Biographical Info

Description Meredith is an Alexander Technique teacher, and a member of the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (AUSTAT). An educational process, Alexander technique empowers the student to understand and coordinate their whole body to reduce tension. Meredith encountered Alexander Technique as a performer and was so impressed by the way it helped her with guitar related injuries that she undertook formal training in the Alexander Technique in 2017. Yoga, exercise and other training can alleviate many problems for musicians – but there is something essential missing. Alexander Technique can expand our awareness to our whole selves, and when that awareness of the “use of the self” is present, it can be applied to every form of physical task, from washing the dishes to ballet.

Brief Description PEM - the Perdekamp Emotional Method - is an holistic acting method based on a clear and precise biological process. It operates on the electricity of the nervous system to access emotions and all other physical actions necessary in acting. PEM, discovered and developed by German director and playwright Stephan Perdekamp, provides performers with a direct, effortless and guidable access to authentic emotions, independent from personal experiences or memories. Its physical approach grants security, health, safety and reliability in an actor's career. Since PEM is an holistic acting method it concerns all aspects of acting from character work and text work to voice work and the physical emotional access. Even though PEM is a 3 year professional acting training at PEM Studios Melbourne we offer a variety of PEM programs: short workshops, 8 week classes, 3 month programs, 1 year programs and also private sessions to work on auditions or monologues and scenes. I also hold PEM workshops Australian-wide.

Biographical Info

Description I am an actress, PEM Master Instructor and Head of PEM International. I trained directly with PEM creator Stephan Perdekamp and I am a certified PEM Instructor since 2004. I studied acting in Germany, London and Austria and received my state diploma in acting 2002. I wrote my Master thesis about PEM, the Perdekamp Emotional Method, in 2004 and have been researching in the field of acting ever since. I was founding member of the PEM Ensemble in Vienna, Austria and performed in all plays of the ensemble written and directed by Stephan Perdekamp. I am on the board of directors of the PEM Center Hamburg as well as an actress in the PEM Ensemble Hamburg. In 2012 I became Head of PEM International, leading PEM workshops in the UK, US, Australia, South Africa, India, New Zealand, Japan, Russia and Europe. I held workshops at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, at the University of Johannesburg, the Babes-Bolyai-University Cluj, at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and at Queensland University of Technology. I set up and held the first UK PEM Instructor training with practitioners from leading universities. I am currently based in Melbourne, establishing the PEM Studios Melbourne as well as the PEM International Ensemble.
