Performing Arts Health Education:
It’s crucial!

The Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare is committed to any activity which promotes the health of Australian performing artists

For this reason ASPAH both supports and participates in seminars, community activities, cultural events and educational activities, both here and overseas. 

As we become aware of them we will promulgate such events, and especially those in which the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare participates.

In particular keep an eye out for impending meetings of the members, like our Annual Conferences and AGM.  These are pivotal to the running of our Society, and they are your opportunity to tell us where you want ASPAH to go.  So even if you are not yet a member feel free to come along; new comers are always be welcome.

As well, regional groups of ASPAH hold meetings and events for anyone interested on a regular basis.  Currently there are groups established in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Mackay and we are keen to help members establish an ASPAH presence in their own area.  This can be as simple as getting together for a coffee on a regular basis with other like-minded people in your area.  For more information on how to do this have a look here.

Tell us about an Event!

Do you know of any events which bring performers and health professional together? Perhaps you are organising something which  focuses on the health of performers, or perhaps you just know of an event where ASPAH may be able to contribute. If so then please let us know by contacting us.  

ASPAH is for anyone interested in finding answers in the fields of performing arts health, performing arts medicine, music medicine, dance medicine, dance injuries, performance anxiety, performance stress, stage fright, RSI in musicians and anything else to do with illness and injury in the performing arts.
